I know it’s too late to choose a poster, but just wanted to say that I’m anxious to see the movie.

#1 poster…It appears to me to be the one that stands out.

Thanks again everyone who shared their thoughts. When I tallied votes received by both comments and email, #1 had the edge. We’re going with a variation of that, though we may mix it up with posters and other collateral.

We’re sending a final cut to the folks at Da Vinci FF tomorrow, so we’re getting ready for the debut!

I have to say I like #3 the most. One is too busy, my eyes start to hurt and aren’t sure where to look. Two is too “Napoleon Dynomite” – too “it’s been done before”. Three is beautiful and seems most representative of what the trailer wants me to perceive of the finished product. Love that photo.

I asked some family and friends for their opinions and got 3 votes for #1, 1 for #2 and 1 for #3. I think 1 and 2 are most reflective of the film’s dark comedic side, as I read it, but I really loved the landscape shots I’ve seen in the clips and trailer and #3 is equally beautiful as those shots. All that aside… every one i asked responded pretty quickly as to which one they liked. They all had pretty strong, not necessarily good, feelings about #2.
They all look professional. Go #1.

I like poster 3 the best. Poster 1 doesn’t really say much about the story, I think from what I’ve seen of the trailer. Poster 2 is cute, and certainly wouldn’t be bad. I think poster 3 best captures the feel of the movie I got from the trailer. It’s expansive in a way the others aren’t.

I personally really like the first one. It seems to alive and like a feature film’s poster! Again, I vote for the first one… Thanks.

I vote for the first one too! The cake is too generic, the blue-sky-and-barn is a beautiful photo but not as interesting as Eric’s scowl and crooked tie!

Can’t wait to see what happens next on the project!
